Because then comes the engagement, where is the importance and necessity of Instagram. Indeed, the interaction and immediacy of the relationship with the image make “Instagramers” engaged users able to share their content on networks (Facebook, twitter…).

As mentioned on the article on Public Relations Tactics, Oct2014, “5 Instagram Tips to Maximize Brand Presence”, by Ali Lundberg « With more than 55 million photos shared daily and almost 9,000 likes each second, Instagram is among the most engaging social networks. It’s changing the way that brands are engaging with their consumers and influencing purchasing decisions.”

This is why Instagram is now a tool that brands should not be overlooked. The visual is part of the social network, Instagram is a real opportunity to enhance the product and dramatize.

On Instagram, the use of likes and comments by users make them content generators for the brand and therefore, committed users. Indeed they do not hesitate #taguer brands and get in direct contact with them. Moreover, Instagram is very easy to use and an easy way to share different aspects of brands, and of course cheap and easy way to maintain visibility.

I think today it is better for a brand to have Instagram to share their products and their ideas, but also to have a community of customers. It is also useful to show their products, I think a customer is more attracted by something he sees.
Moreover like you say, it is free publicity for the brand, but I think it affects more young people.

      I agree with your think.

    • alix35 says:

Yes of course, customers need to see products. And for that it’s a very good means of communication. Like you say, it create a community of customers, and nowadays it’s really important because of the importance of the competition.

Hello, Instagram now has become an advertising medium. Earlier the same principle Instagram to share photos with the hashtag rained a lot to users, but unfortunately the commercials were initiated too, and created a payment system for popular people together to share a brand to subscribers return of money.
This application becomes a nest for money, advertising is everywhere. There évdimment has advantages and disadvantages as for example a person who is not known by the general public but which professional photographs can be known through the application.
But where is the limit of advertising?

    • alix35 says:

I agree with you about your question “where is the limite of advertising?”. Indeed, nowadays the competition is really strong, and for that, all means are good to highlight a product, a brand. That’s why customers have to take care sometimes, be careful to misleading advertising. We can not deal with advertising, its power is growing, and with the development of new technology, it will become more and more.

I agree with what Alicia said above. Instagram is nowadays a huge advertising tool for a lot of firms. As said above, the main goal of Intsagram was to share pictures with friends and others and show new things. Firms took the opportunity to change it into a more advertise social media and now use for product placement. I find it kind of sad that they turned it into a money place as the main purpose was to just share pictures. I have an Instagram account but I still don’t understand the point of using it to sell products as other tools exist for that already. I strongly believe that other social media are more useful to get famous andbe known. If you want to be known why not use LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter instead?

    • alix35 says:

Yes I agree with you Maëlle. Of course it is really shame that all means end up becoming the means of make money. Brands find and imagine any means possible to make money and advertise the cheapest possible. But it is a way to reach as many people as possible. Young by examples, which are not always present on networks such as LinkedIn.

      • Maëlle Guyot says:

I know and I agree with you! However, I believe that maybe someday social medias might not be free anymore because of that.. I mean there are other ways to reach people even young ones (e.g. Snapchat, Twitter and others)
